My First Blog Post is a Lie!
Sunday, December 6th, 2009That’s right, my first post here is a total lie. I did not, “created this site as a place to collect ideas and information about the web, social media, design, technology, food, and other fun stuff“. I don’t even like to write that much, unless of course it’s in 140 characters or less. So why did I start this blog? I started this blog to play around with setting up custom WordPress sites and learn how to use the application. My hope was to take on some new clients who wanted a business or personal blog, set up the blog & teach them how to use it. My main client, that I’ve worked for over 10 years, had less & less work for me so I needed to find something else to do.
In February of 2009 my husband started working full time with EquestrianLife.com. Later that spring they brought me in as the Creative Director. It has been a great job and really fun. What we are working on now is a full site redesign and rebuild. A lot of new features will be adding during the coming year, plus we will continue our live event broadcasts along with some other exciting things.

So, I’m pretty busy these days and don’t have much time or motivation to keep up with this blog. I’m not saying I won’t post here every once in a while, but probably not too often.
